Work in Africa

TIP works works with many  institutions in the Netherlands and in (East) Africa. We work with charity organisations, and other local initiatives to help establish themselves in the development process. We are pleased to welcome you aboard our many activities as we share knowledge  and experiences in order to speed up development processes.

Some examples of our work in Africa are:

Health
we work with several hospitals and nursing training centres, whereby we encourage expertise sharing to improve the quality of health but also to give you a chance of working and living in Africa.

Education
From universities of Cape Coast to the University of Dar es Salaam, primary schools and colleges, TIP establishes exchange programs and allows for European students to spent a semester in Africa working and living in an African setting.

Research
An important part of TIP's work is research. Research is meant for eduaction institutions, charity organisations and businesses who are planning to work or invest in Africa and who would like to know exactly the environment, resources, culture, language and the people they are going to work in. TIP offers not only a concrete baseline survey but also future bases for further research, linking you with appropriate officials and offer training on country specifics where one plans to go.

If you aspire to be a volunteer in one of the countries where TIP operates, we can locate for you a suitable organisation that can help you fulfill your ambitions. TIP works with People4Change (www.people4change.nl) for a wide range of countries where one can work as a volunteer.
